Had some setbacks the past couple months with algae, aptasia, and some illness that killed most of my fish. Finally got everything, but a bit of turf algae, back up to par in the tank.

I was going to ask the same. I want a blue spotted puffer but hear they will eat all of my inverts, is that true??

Always a good assumption with puffers. I saw a neat little leopard puffer the other day that I would have loved to have picked up, but I don't wanna take the chance. Some you can get lucky with though.

the only one I would trust in a reef is a Valenti puffer,
mine did good with corals and inverts , I lost mine from drowning he got stuck between the rocks and the glass ,

I'm actually contemplating on trying the leopard puffer. Not sure though...

Thats my green spotted puffer. Ive had him for about 4 years. Started as fresh water!

So my puff is really good around corals but I can't keep snails around for more than a day or two before he chows down on them

Those GSP's can be some bad dudes! That's pretty cool that he don't mess with coral though.

Yeah he spends most of his time looking out of the tank trying to get me to feed him lol. He's been living with a sexy shrimp for the last year and hasn't even looked at him twice. Did eat a peppermint shrimp but 1 out of 3 isn't bad

That's awesome. I'd figure the sexy shrimp would've been first.

Picked up a couple things yesterday. Got a nice acan a zoa frag with 4 different color polyps a pair of tank raised occ clowns and a couple more emerald crabs. Here's a bunch of pictures

So yesterday morning found my puffer all beat up looking still alive but hurting. Think he got caught up in my mini maxi carpet nem while chasing peppermint shrimp. Got him into qt and he looked a bit better this morning
