43 gal colony? Segguestions

I like all cichlids so any type that can fit into this

well would you like a certain color scheme of some sorts..there is a lot of options to stock your tank so we need to know which direction to go

Even though I'm not a fan of characins, I think large schools of one species of tetra look great. I mean, thirty neon tetras swimming together looks amazing. I don't know if that's what you meant by "colony".

if you wanted to do some mbuna i would suggest maybe four of one species like yellow labs, you could do some dwarf cichlids for more of a community tho.
