4ft tank centre brace missing

hi guys im buying a 4ft tank really cheap and it has the centre brace missing is this a problem ?

old tanks didnt have them but the glass was thicker and it wasnt a problem. but now they are made thinner. go to glasscages.com and they are $15 plus $15 shipping

Depends on the tank and the integrity of the construction. The juwels range of tanks claims you can safely remove the centre brace.
