Just bought a 58 gallon oceanic reef ready overflow tank. any suggestions on lighting ? odyssea v4 192 watt ? or a jebo 36 inch dual compact flourescent ? or a pcf 192w power compact?

i know need to buy to the overflow kit , but do i need a canister filter also ? and they make protein skimmers that go inside the overflow ?

Lighting will depend on what you plan on keeping in the tank. For FOWLR, lighting is not as important as with corals. I have heard mixed reviews on Odyssea lighting, more not so great than good. If you have an overflow, are you adding a sump/fuge? You can don't need a canister, I like them for added water volume (at least on my 125), the ability to add more LR rubble and run media if needed.
