Current usa with the automatic marin orbit timer. It's sweet all led and it slowly fades to automate natural conditions. It wasn't cheep little over 300 but we'll worth it and should pay itself off eventually.

No haven't had a chance. I've been working on this tank a lot it's not 100% yet. I'm having a hob refugium custom made and still need a chiller. Once it's done I'll get a link on here for some kind of video. I'm still a newbie to the reef game. I just have a leit f/s down the street and they give up the knowledge as they should since I've spent about a G at there store haha. I can't take more pics of the lighting and other things I've done for now if you'd like.

I am replacing my orbit next week! You find it does not deliver much for par levels! Each bulb is only .6watts!

I'm bummed I thought I was doing it right well now that I've researched all this [moderator edit] you are right and I'm [moderator edit] angry because I was putting out whatever it would cost now I have these useless lights that I payed 300 for and they aren't going to work properly for what I want to do. I'm [moderator edit] pissed. Do you have a suggestion on a led that will work that's not going to cost an arm and leg and that comes with a timer like the current usa has?

I decided after a lot of looking to try th rapid par 38 bulbs ! I have a 36long tank and I'm putting 2! $89/ bulb! Cheapest way I could find! This will be my 3rd fixture so don't feel bad!

Thanks mel. Yeah I'm looking to stay led and pay whatever it takes I've decided price won't be much of a showstopper at this point.

In this hobby it cant be LOL. You don't have to do LED`s. There are several other options out there. I use old school VHO bulbs.

I spoke with my f/s he assured me that the light is sufficient for coral growth and is to new for anyone to have a solid review.

Researching I did conclude there were two descriptions of the unit. One promoted coral growth showing results of a par level test the other was saying the unit is good for some corals there is definitely conflicting between the two. I will give it some time.

I've had the 36 orbit for 2 months! It will keep Lps alive, but growth will be very slow!
