Yeah, the 12" strip she got is currently being used as a night light, VERY bright. They were great too, low price and shipped pretty fast.

I'm consering getting the one she has and replacing the Biocube's moonlights with it. Mine already seem to be dying and I never liked them anyway. I figured I'd just cut the wire and solder the strip in, then stick it in the hood where the LEDs are now

Yeah the black sand looks sick, I think it looks better in these smaller tanks than the bigger ones. How long till you start stocking?

Estes. Uber cheap when I bought it, like $5 for 10 pounds.

I love that sand. The black is going to make corals pop. I can't wait to see it go!

Finally mounted the LED strip. Looks hawt, uber bright (lights the whole tank). I was gonna mess with the picture to try to fix the coloring, buttttt I sucked at it.

BTW, I got the pre-wired ribbon leds from Oznium.com, 1 foot blue.
