I have a few questions today. Four of my fish have died, and I only know the reason for one of their deaths. The one identified death is a dojo loach with swam down all my tubing, through my bioballs in my wet dry trickle only to get stuck in the filter . There is another dojo who I have not seen in quite a while My sand is not deep enough for burrowing. Two of my (New quarantined for 2 weeks) Congo tetras have also disappeared. I found one had done what I thought impossible and wiggled past the sponge I had put in the intake box, dieing. Can someone recommend something to help with the filter, I would buy a different filter, but I am more than a little broke.
The tank stats are as follows:
55 gallons
Water Quality: 20ppm nitrates, 0ppm nitrite, 0ppm ammonia
Stocking: Formerly 4 dojo loaches, 5 congo tetras
Now: 2 dojo loaches, 3 Congo tetras
My filter is wet a dry trickle, can not think of the brand.
Feeding Hiraki sinking wafers, frozen blood worms and frozen spinirula brine shrimp
PS. the Quarantine if full of angelfish currently.

Thanks in advance
