Now I just need my shaving brushes and sponge. The gobies were an impulse buy while getting parts. So tiny I couldn't resist.

Yeah, I have a big yellow sponge in the main tank I am putting in there and I have cheato, its just in chamber 2 with my media rack/over flow silencer.

Yeah, I have a hefty Bioload so I am going for as much filtration as I can. Had this HOB sitting around but the plumbing is to wide to hang on the back so I built a very sturdy shelf to sit it on. It's been a ride but its done now and running well. I figured above tank left less room for error than modding/drilling my cube. Still has two pumps but gravity evens them out. We'll see how it works.

Got lucky with these gobies. Tank was full of em and I think I got a.pair.

So here's how I did it out of the tank. One thing though. That big white ball is supposed to be a checkvalve that only let's the water go up but it isn't working. Plus the pump is struggling like crazy to push the spring in the valve so I had to eliminate it and remove about a half gallon of water. When the pumps shut off the tank fills right up to the rim. When running, chamber 2 is half full. Anyone have any suggestions on stopping the back flow. Id like it to stay full but if not, it'll work this way. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

U need a low pressure check valve.. I've seen them before, basically the something without a spring. Never used one though because I wouldn't trust it..

All I can find are pretty much for pools,spas....etc. none rated for the low flow I need.

I seen one before at a plumbing supply store called "Ferguson". Not sure where u live but you can always check online...
