I an upgrading to a ten gallon from a three point five gallon, Newbie mistake. Do I need to cycle this tank, or will it affect the frog if I don't cycle it? I realize it would cycle anyways because of the frog waste.

Also, are these frogs okay in well water or conditioned tap water? I use spring water now, but with a ten gallon that would be ridiculously expensive.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Just cycle it like you would a normal tank. Better for the frog, and safer. I'd just use conditioned tap water.

Conditioned tap water is fine. If the ammonia gets too high it will burn his skin and eyes so he would be more comfortable if you did cycle it :)

Yup, planning on it. Its down in my room right now, running, I'll seed it and give it an ammonia source tomorrow.

that is the best thing to do I have a 10 gal and an ADF I just used regular tap w/ conditioning of course.
