Ok, so I know nothing about koi really. But a friend of a friend is wanting to add some more koi to her pond. She recently had three fancy goldfish die in her pond, they had some sort of tumor and had died around 15 years old. She has two koi (look to be over 12 inches) in the pond right now, if you put two smaller (5 inch) koi in the pond would the bigger koi do anything to the smaller ones? Any advice?
She has three ponds connected with the big pond, the big pond is 5ft deep and is the only one that can hold the koi the others are too shallow to hold fish. I don't know how wide or how long.
