I am pretty sure that my Albino Cherry Barbs are breeding. The male has been wiggling and waving his fins all funny at the female and she looks like she could possibly be getting fat. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of Cherry Barb eggs. I have only owned live bearers until now and want to try to save some of the eggs before they are eaten.

As long as you have plenty of plants (and that tank sure does), some of the eggs will float into cracks and crevices where the parents won't find them. Mine don't have very good eyesight and they left a lot of eggs alone when they were breeding.

The eggs are very small, clear or translucent. They should be sticking to plants or the edge of the tank where it meets the substrate. I have some pics of the fry after they hatch but I probably don't have any of the eggs.
