I have this plant thing that has been growing for about 2 months. probalby doubled in size since then. It branches out and is flat-ish. It kinda soft and moves a little in the water current.

Good? Bad? Run for the hills?

Looks like some sort of macro algae. So I would assume it can't be bad.

I'd keep it. Looks like macro algae. Or kelp. Either way it should be fine!

watch your nutrient levels. ease up on feeding and increase water changes. macroalgae or not, the hair algae next to the mystery algae (i'm not yet convinced it's kelp, but can't find a match) is a nuisance algae, and can and does get quite out of hand in nutrient rich water.

yup, thankyou for the advice.
The hair algae is subsiding atm. it's nearly dissapeared.

I think something in my tank is eating it?

when it's short like that, a lot of things eat it, but when it gets long, it seems like many lose a taste for it.
