I feed my fish once a day.
I have the following:
1 Green Terror - 4"
2 Jack Dempsey's - 3 1/2"
1 Jack Dempsey - 2 1/2"

I feed them all the flake they can eat in three minutes.
Then I float about a half teaspoon of pellets on a shotglass for 10 minutes
and drop those in....they don't last long.
Once a week I also give the fish a teaspoon of frozen brine shrimp.

Am I underfeeding?
Should I feed twice or more a day?
I've read in many places to feed many Cichlids 2-3 times a day, but I thought that was too much, expecially during my bad Cycling experience. But now I think my bio filter is built up enough to handle the waste.
Any instructions?

Excellent question esaone :D . Alot depends on the size of your tank and your water changing schedule. Young fish require more feedings for proper growth. I would feed twice a day and increase the frozen brine shrimp. The roughage in the shell is good for the digestive system.

I have a 55 gallon grow out tank.
I do water changes every week and gravel vac's every month.
How often with the brine shrimp?
Same amount of pellets?
