Amano shrimp... tenting for termites

Hello.

We're tenting for termites in a couple of days. I'm taking our fish to a nearby store until it's done. They're going to be in a bare tank so I was thinking about bringing my amano shrimp with us instead.

What's a good small and manageable sized container to house them in so I don't have to change their water while we're gone? I was thinking a gallon water jug.... Also they're coming from a planted tank so should I put anything in there with them or leave it empty so they don't get injured when I'm carrying around the container?

How long will the temporary container be used during the termite treatment?
A Consistent room temp., adding Java moss, and a colonized BB sponge filter bubbler would be ideal.
How many shrimp?
