An unplanned addition

I saw an ad on Craigslist tonight for a 5" albino pleco, male.
I was planning to get a bristlenose sometime so I arranged to pick him up.

He is an albino red-tailed shark! His former owner was misinformed by the store he bought him from.
So, he's here for the night. If he adjusts well, he can stay. However, it's a gamble. I have guppies and cory cats. :-/
If it goes poorly, I am taking him to my awesome (5 star) lfs tomorrow.
Poor little guy.
He will have a great hiding place, and the other fish definitely won't bother him.
I just felt bad leaving him to a random owner... I know he will land somewhere safe now.

Good for you, I hope it works out for the both of you! Kind of hard to imagine a worker at a lfs mistaking an albino red tail with an albino pleco.

Thanks. That place has actually closed, so I don't know what they were like. I am incredibly lucky to have Two Turtles shop.
