I have a green bubble tip anemone. Last night I noticed that he was "pulling apart" at the bottom. Like he had two feet and one head.

Today, I have two green bubble tip anenomes. He divided himself right in half and both halves are happy as can be.

Is this how anenomes reproduce? If so how often will this happen?

Not sure how often they split, but my buddy had a brown bubble tip split last summer. He gave the new 1/2 to me as a gift.

My green bulb anemone also seems like splitting, its tentacles seems like growing more wide spread and the whole anemone seems to be larger in size, but its not like what Pisces describe, it does not have two feet, only one, is it reproducing? Or they start with having two feet 1st? Am I just over happy about it? BTW what about the mouth? When its reproducing, it has 2 mouths?
