Angel fish dorsal fin

The of dorsal fin is round and not pointed. How normal is that? Is it a sign of bad breeding?

As far as I know, it's normal. I see rounded fins all the time on Angels in pet stores, but specifically bred Angels may have more pointed fins to appease fish lovers.

It's fine. Not sure why some angels look like that amd others look pointed. Could be how they were raised.

2 of the 6 angels in my house, the two in my tank (with the plants you generously gave me )have almost the exact same looking dorsal fin.

There are lots of shapes to angelfish dosal fins. I even have some 2 veil angels that have very long dorsal fins but when the hit about 2-1/2 inches long the curved and now look like a sword from the arabian knights! Fin looks good and perfectly normal. You know there are angels now that are being sold as "wide fins". Check the fins on these guys, they are wide fins. Angelfishusa wide fin - YouTube
