Angel Plus Active Filter

Hello, Im curious if you guys know if it would be possible to cut up the 4" active angel plus filter and place it inside my hang off tank filter and still allow it to seed my tank without impeding the filtering process?

Yep it's fine. I've done it. I still have a piece left in my filter actually lol
