Angelfish and Guppies

The key is having small angels grow up with larger guppies in the same tank. If this is done, you can greatly increase the chances of this working. I've done it with quarter sized angelfish and neon tetras, which they eat in the wild. I never lost a neon to an angelfish and they got to be the size of a large hand (not counting fins).

You might also consider having a heavily planted tank and frequent feedings to make the angels a little less aggressive towards the guppies.
