Angelfish baby is growing up!

I've only had him for a month or two, and I'm starting to see some obvious growth. Fins are filling out, and his tail is starting to sprout some longer tips. (His body is roughly the size of a quarter.)

So this post is two part, one I just think it's exciting and I wanted to share.

And two, this is my first angel, and I'm curious about what to expect as he grows out. I see lots of pictures of everyone's adult angels with these beautiful flowing fins, but it's hard to imagine that this little guy could one day look like that.
Anyone interested/willing to share photos of their juvi/adult angels growth stages just for kicks?

Also, when I got him, I didn't realize there were so many different types. Everything I'd researched just said "angelfish." Now I gather he's a veiltail, can anyone tell me anything more than that from a photo?

Very nice looking angel! Here's mine, one about nickel size, 2 quarter size, one a little smaller than a coke can and one a little bigger than a coke can.

So I looked up a bit about wide fin angels. Do you think he may end up more like this guy I borrowed from google? Or more like zimmanski's last two photos? I'm happy either way, just trying to figure out what I have... Time will tell I suppose.

Also, do they not get quite as tall as the veiltails?

Your fish will stay looking like it does. It will grow larger but the fins won't change from how they are now.

It's fun to watch them grow. I had fish as a kid, and again in high school for about a week (that was a disaster - 3 small goldfish in an unfiltered 1 gallon plastic bowl, it was awful) before I knew anything about keeping fish, and they never lived long enough (obviously) to see this side of the hobby. It's kind of exciting.

Also, thank you for the liquid co2 recommendation on another thread. It has really helped to clear up both tanks!
