Any advice on this coffee table aquarium?

I believe it's made by Midwest Tropical.

This would be for a Manhattan apartment where space is an extreme premium so this would be just dandy.

What concerns me is:

Do I have to remove the heavy glass top every time I wanted to do a water change?

How effective and strong is the pump?

I'm sure I could run my own pump on this but it would kind of ruin the aesthetics of it.

the site says nothing about the actual specs of the filter(not even model name), and it doesn't say anything about how to change water. the chances of someone here having the exact same aquarium you are asking questions about is slim, maybe you could contact the manufacturer or web-store.
