Middle is sand surrounded by larger slate piece

Cool lots of tank to work with. You can grow almost any plant i THINK without CO2 as long as you dose liquid carbon, such as excel. This is my tank, not as much slate as you

That look awesome at first I was going for the all sand bottom but got the slate for free would a carpet (java moss) spread across the slate ?

Yea i need it to fill out more and im planning on more red, pink and purple plants at the back and coloured corner. Yea i dont see why it wouldnt carpet. Youd have to trim it mind as i reckon most of its growth will go up towards the light. Surely in that tank though you gotta have higher ambitions than just java moss??

Yeah of course I think the plants are just as important as the fish that's why I came here :)
