Any safe paint?

Well I've spent most of the day trying to find fluval 405 parts for my 406. So I may just have to paint the parts I want black. Is there any safe paint, that will not harm fish, mess with the ph levels or ammonia levels?

No it's not toxic to a certain point. I wouldn't sniff it or anything lol. Try glued call hardware store,lowes, homedepot etc.

Hah didnt plan on huffing any of it, but I'm just more concerned about my fish getting loopy off of it.

Yeah was just joking with ya. Paint everything let it dry then out it back in its place. ALOT of members including myself paint the intake tubes of the aqua clears black to blend in.

Intake tube on a canister or HOB? Either way I think you'll be fine.

The closest you'll get is Krylon Fusion. Most around here use it and have for years with no issues.

It's a canister, fluval 406. I just don't want it to get clogged at all.
