API Ammonia Test

Is it just me, or do the rest of you go through your #2 bottle quicker than #1, even though you use 8 drops out of each??

I'm starting to wonder if the nozzle is creating larger drops of #2, and that unequal mixture is why my tube always says my established tank has .25ppm....

Ur probably right. Bottle 1 is definitely a more viscous liquid. Everytime i do a test, i put my 8 drops of bottle 1 in, then start to add bottle 2 abd the drops come flying out bc its so much 'thinner'. That difference probably does create drops of varying sizes.
