API calcium test kit question

Hi, does anyone use this testkit? Maybe in reef keeping?

I'm unsure when to stop testing and the blue change has gone through.

Yea I have used the test many times.
10 drops part one ,then you count the drops till color change.
You are using for FW? I am not sure how that will go?

Yes, using it for freshwater and not quite sure what I'm up to. I'm only getting half what the shop is getting (unless they are taking a gh reading - will have to check). Still getting myself sorted on this test.

I never trusted it as it always took way to many drops to change ,
than I went to the sulfert kit

With the API each drop is 20 ppm, so it may be to 'heavy' for accurate freshwater.
I am sure^^ means Salifert whose test actually is accurate in FW also.
