aponogeton vs. snails

do snails eat aponogeton bulb plants? im thinking of raising some snails in my 5g betta tank.

depends on what kind they are. ramshorn (i think) and channel snails eat them but the other one doesnt. sry kinda vague

well these came from my plants so i dont really know ..i know that most of them are pond snails but the rest a really small i cant really tell ..all i can say its that their shells look like a regular garden snails shell but its yellow with a black line that follows the spiral

if they came with the plants chances are they won't eat your plants. search the plant forum for some more thoughts on this.
