Aqua C Remora question

My old CPR Bak-Pak 2R needs a new powerhead, and I am thinking of just getting a new skimmer. At some point I will upgrade to a 75 gallon tank, which is the maximum rating for the Remora. Will this skimmer work effectively on a 75 gallon tank, or do I really need the Remora Pro?

i would go with the pro for a 75G tank. Much more effective.

I have the regular Remora on my 55 and I would say it's borderline effective. Go with the Pro.

So I guess the Remora Pro it is. Now the question is: should I get the Rio 1400 or the Mag Drive 3 pump?

I just got an Aquac Remora Pro from Ebay. this skimmer kicks arse. the amount is staggering. It came with a mag 5 pump. I have it on a 55. It is a little bit noisy in the reaction chamber though. but it's definitely worth it. the pump takes up a little bit of real estate. overall, an impressive and easy to use skimmer.
