Yeah, those fuges are pretty small. the 25.5" one is only 5.5gallons of water. It will work as a fuge, but it's not gonna be a massive absorber of nitrates and phosphates.
I've got absolutely no room underneath of the bow front cabinet. Not having any problems with phosphates or nitrates. I've read that more effective fuges are at least 10% of the main but I'm just looking for that extra life I can support now. Maybe a pod farm for a mandarin someday. Got it and set up this past weekend. Caulerpa (?) and live rock bits so far. Great fit. Looks good too. Gonna have to make some more cuts on my eggcrate for the intake and outlet pipes, but I'm pretty happy.
