Assassin Snails and a crayfish?

Anyone know if assassin snails will attack a crayfish? I have a crayfish and would like to expand to an invertebrate tank with MTS snails and assassin snails. They cray is too small yet to crush snails, he just pulls them around the tank..

Any chance the assassin's would go after the cray?

No, but the snails will end up being prey for the cray.

Well at that point he can keep the MTS snails under control instead of the assassin snails. For now I have a couple snails in there and he just plays with them, he tries to crush them but doesn't have the strength yet..

As long as you know what to expect, it's fine. The cray will not be harmed by the assasins.

MTS have pretty tough shells. I'm not sure an assassin's shell is as tough.

they are tougher then pond or ramshorn but not as hard as mts.
