Awful mistake

I just stripped my albino red zebra for the second time. I stripped her for the first time about a month and a half ago. I wasn't thinking and put the new fry with the old fry. The new fry were torn to pieces ?. I scooped up about 7 and put them in a breeding box. I've definitely learned, has anyone else made this mistake? Or am I just an idiot haha
