Bala sharks with red

I have a 55gal with some bala sharks in it. I am noticing some red in their fins. What is this from??? Doing a pwc right now...

55 gallon is okay for baby balas, but if they're mid-size or bigger then I agree with Cynic.. You need 100-125+ gallons for a group of balas.

They are very young. I know they get huge, not planning on keeping them when they are that big. So what is the red from?!?

I dont think its got anything to do with the tank size - before I upgraded to my 120 gallon I had my bala shark in my 33 gallon for just over 8 months and never once did I see it a) look stressed or b) form red colouration.

how long ago did you buy the shark?
