Best cichlid?

I've only owned two cichlids, so not much of a competition. But, this is my old blue titanium flowerhorn that passed away about a month ago.

These are my JDs and my breeding pair of firemouths. They started out in a 55 (the pic of the two JDs w/ a firemouth) then got moved to the white sand 120g (JDs/catfish) the firemouths started spawning and terrified everyone in the 120 so they got moved to a 29g (black gravel) and they are now in their own 55g (no pic) happily planning their next spawn.

My all-time favorites are Australoheros oblongum, mid-size but very mellow fish. Here's a couple pics of my breeding pair:

Females look just as good, just smaller:

The red-spotted severums are great too IMO:

My frontosas (the black and white striped ones with blue fins) they are awesome fish, so mellow and majestic.

Lol!! Its an opera chiclid!

Sadly, i have no chiclids. I would love too someday, as i pretty much know nothing about them and would like to learn!

Hey!! Ya never know!! Look at me! Never thought I'd go SW now I am and your my inspiration. Maybe I'll inspire you one day and you'll do a nice African Cichlid tank!! :)

Yea dog thats it! Lol! Iv already got it pictured in my mind...a huge driftwood centerpiece covered in anubias, chiclid stones mixed in with slate on either side of the tank...oh...wait.. Lol!!

Edit: lol! I like how in the first pic you see the eel in the backround creepin...just noticed that...

Never heard of these before, but they are absolutely gorgeous! And your severums are to die for.
