I have a planted tank and want to know what is the best light fixture for growing plants to its fullest potential. I currently have a 24"-36" marineland double bright fixture I feel it is good and looks great but my plants can look better. I have 2 amazon swords, dwarf sag, parrot feather, and wisteria.
I want something that will make my tank look just as good as the led fixture. thanks

I guess I am getting ok results, maybe I should of got the marineland reef lights instead. I just didn't want it to look overly brivht

There are a lot of options available for lighting the planted tank. And, improper or insufficient aquarium lighting causes fish stress, lessened activity and coloration, and poor growth and health in fish and invertebrates.Hence, choose the right one.

Do you think the marine land reef light would be overkill for my tank?

I bought another double bright for the top of ny tank. I am going to keep two up there
