I have a good amount of stringy green algae buildup on all rocks and coral what's the best method to remove it

Hair algae growth like that is caused by high nutrient levels. Restrict/minimal feedings and using ro/di water will solve these issues. Additional filtration/skimming can also help as can increased flow in the tank so food doesn't settle in the bottom and decay.

Very true I just know it takes a long time for the hair algae to die off
