Betta and friends?

Ok so I gave my nephew my four gallon tank and I bought him a crowntail betta its been fine by himself until I came home today and my sister bought a blackskirt tetra so now I don't know what to do the only other tank I can put him in is a ten gallon but that can't happen til monday so I'm stuck and the store she bought it from is 45 min away

They will likely be fine for the weekend. The best option would be to return the fish when possible, unless you can provide it with a large enough tank for a school of them. A 4 gallon is pushing it for a betta alone.
