Aquarium Advice Newbie
I've had my red crowntail betta for about 3 months now, but recently I found that he has trouble swimming and seems to often just lie at the top without moving, and if I tap the tank then he moves, but he seems to have trouble staying upright, since he's usually on his side at the top. I've noticed that he has a bulge in his belly and I think it's swim bloat but I've been feeding him peas every other day and on occasion a pellet..
He's in his own 1g tank with a betta log and plant, the tank is the aqueon mini bow, I change the water 80% 2-3 times a week.
