Betta Community Tank

Hi everyone,
I have a 10 gallon long tank that I'd like to stock as a betta community tank. I've done some research and I think I'd like to add some amano shrimp and endlers livebearers as tank mates. Thoughts on how many of each to add so I don't overload the tank?

It's easy enough to get only males-- they're the pretty ones lol. But I agree-- max 5.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Yes, I have a 5 gallon that I plan on planting soon as well that I will have ready for the betta if he doesn't take well to tank mates. And 5 is about the number I was looking at for the endlers. Thanks everyone!
