My betta Gladyator has fin rot. I believe it not to be too bad, and have him a a clean gallon of water right now. I was reading on bettasplendid.weebly.com or something like that you can treat fin Rot with non iodized salt. Adding one teaspoon for every gallon of water and changing the gallon daily. I was wondering if I can use kosher salt, since I am not going to a large city until Monday. Please help me take care of my boy.

I would chance it. You can really harm a fish with salt. I would say clean everything real good. And wait til you can get proper medication. Get a medicine that helps treat find rot. API is a great brand. Then get something like primafix or melafix it will help heal his fins. Follow the directions carefully for both. And I also suggest you get some liquid bacteria. Unless you truly maintain your tank. Hope this helps :)
