betta with possible prolapse?

I was feeding my fish today, and I noticed that my betta has a small pink ball between his pectoral fins, on the underside of his body. I am unable to take a pic right now, but I attached a crude drawing of the problem.

It could be. Sometimes they retract on their own. Sometimes not. I have never tried to reinsert the anal sac on a fish. Fixed prolapses on a few dogs and a goat once when I was a vet tech. I would concentrate on making sure the water quality is good and I would refrain from feeding for a few days to see where it is going. Bill

Is the dorsal the same as the pectoral fin?
