It took many moons to get her to this stage but finally I can say that she's flooded and itchin for some plants!
Follow along if you'd like, lots of learning to be had for sure! Here's my set up and equipment...

Want some rotala rotundifolia to fill in the back? Gets a nice light red color to it for me under my fluval led. Under the sat+ should have that red almost all the way down

That's a gorgeous plant! But I was really trying to keep the AR in the middle my only red but a carefully placed "highlight", for lack of a better word, like that would look sick..,,

It really doesn't get red red, but you can tell it isn't green. This is when its close to the light for me, but should be the entire plant for you. Pm me if interested asap. I'm taking some to my lfs sunday

Alright I haven't really bragged at all on this thread but Ima go ahead and do it. My AR looks pretty darn good if I do say so myself
Lots of new very healthy leafs on the plants and some killer reds. Don't know if it's the magical aqua soil (sk3lly) or the overdoses of potassium and iron (OS and Brookster) or the open area where nothing but light hits it (TigerTerror) but anyway I'm pretty proud of em!


All the other plants are doing good! One strand of Downoi completely turned brown last night. Went ahead and removed it, don't need an excuse for algae. Star is also loving life!
