Yea I was pretty shocked when I saw it. The owner grows all of his own corals and has $5 10 15.etc... and the store is within walking distance from work so its really hard not to buy frags on my lunch every day!

So I glued the sps frags to the top of my LR. The purple tree w brown polyps is already starting to branch!!! Zoa's are multiplying!! And added a twinspot goby to help cut back on the excessive red algae in my sand bed. 2 hrs and he had the tank spotless!!!

Anyone know why twinspot gobys are considered difficult to keep? The guy at my lfs told me it was because they did better in pairs... I just figured he was trying to get me to spend more, because I've always heard they are aggressive to each other...

Very nice tank/

Be prepared in a little while for the clowns to start fighting the maroon will probably be the winner. Each fish is different but 2 different clowns usually don't get along.

If you have stock lighting your SPS may not do very well.

From the research I have done they do best in pairs if they are already a bonded pair. It is probably because of their diet that they are hard to keep as well. For a small fish they seem to need a rather large aquarium as well IMO I wouldn't get them for my tank from the little research I have done. Twinspot goby – Signigobius biocellatus | Aquariums Life

Yea the clowns are fighting a little bit but the maroon is the one taking most of the abuse. They are actually not fighting as much as I thought they would.

Few shots of the twinspot goby!! Anyone know what that is in the first shot just below him to the right? Is that some kind of anemone?

Beautiful aquarium and fish! I have to get myself one of these!

Thanks. I see you have a red sea Max 34g. Was thinking about investing in one of those. How do you like it? Does the built in Skimmer work well?

Well, I have had many problems with mine. It overheats so bad, I need to open the first part and blow a big fan on it. My skimmer stopped working a while ago and I had to replace it. One of the pumps stopped working and I had to replace it. My moonlights (at least one) blew out once or twice, so those had to be replaced(one is broken again now). These problems may have been fixed, but these are the issues I had with mine. I would suggest getting the Biocube 29 instead. Oh and by the way, now that the skimmer works, it works well.:)

NIce to see your Twinspot has a good work ethic...or he/she is obsessive comulsive abut red algae...was there a smug look on his/her face once the "housecleaning" was completed? :)

Also, what did you use to glue your frag? I am in the slow process of building two 28 Nanocubes..liverock is currently "cooking." Usually I just stack the rock in a stable format but am working on an aquascape that may need a little help. Rumor has it the gel version of Superglue works.

My lfs has 2 different options as far as "glue" goes. One is a clear super glue gel which is what I used. It dries in 15 seconds. The option is the purple putty (on my hammer ). Its more malleable. If your arrangement will need a stronger fastener I would go with the super glue gel and on the points that you're going to glue make sure you scrub off any loose particulates from the rock. I use a very soft bristle dog toothbrush.

What is the name of the purple putty? I found pink aqua stik epoxy, blueline glue or oceans wonders purple epoxy.

The one my store carries is called "reef epoxy by Boston aqua farms" it should be the same as the ocean wonders purple epoxy.

My mistake it is the ocean wonders. The other one a friend gave me.

Thanks I can't get that around here so I will have to get it off line.
