Bit worried

Is it normal for baby platys that have just been born to sit at the bottom of breeding net? Looking dead

I dont breed platys, but i think they do just sit there because they cant swim yet. In not an expert tho..

Yeah that's normal, they should be swimming soon enough. Feed them very little crushed flakes.

When should I start feeding them?

How long have you had them for. I would suggest twice a day, with very little food. How many fry are there?

Fry born literally an hour ago. Um... 15 that I can count!!

Oh cool. Feed once this afternoon , and the starting tomorrow once in the morning and once in the afternoon.

They will eventually become way to big for the breeding net, I don't know your plans then, but be prepared for that.

How long will that take

1 month or less, probably. Otherwise they will have stunted growth problems.
