Black Fin Shark Catfish dying? Help please

Hi I have a Community freshwater tank (55 gal) my Black Fin Shark Catfish is showing some signs on himself. Peeling/has a light yellow tint?

My water is fine and all my other fish are fine. He’s the newest to the tank. I’ve had him maybe 2 weeks now but these past few days these issues begin. He’s the only black fin catfish in the tank although I have albino catfish and he hangs out with them most of the time. I have attached photos of him. Any advice is greatly appreciated!!

Does it have tankmates or decor that could have injured him? If this fish is what I think it is I hope you have done your research on this species; they transition to salt as they age; get massive and have a poisonous barb to watch out for.

Is he getting picked on by other fish? Could be due to stress
