For a long time they were not available as Mexico had stopped the exportation of the fish. I have recently seen a few around in stores so either they are coming from tank raised stock or other parts of the seas.
I have had them in the past. They required everything that any other jawfish would require ( deep sand bed, protection from larger fish, small bits of food) but they were also notorious jumpers. If you get them, make sure you have a good cover for the tank. They can find any opening
Unless you have a SOLID lid with NO crevices or openings, it should be fine. I went through 5 and i finally had enough. They all jumped. No matter what I did or how much I "sealed" everything, they still found a way through.
