We purchased this pair tonight, and are not really sure if they are blue or bolivian rams. Pic to come....

Bolivians are actually a LOT easier to take care of than German blue rams. German blues are very depending when it comes to water quality, but it is actually easier to take care of them than many people think (or so I've heard.) your bolivians should do fantastic with a good diet and weekly water changes.
But wait for a second opinion on the species-I'm not 100% sure they're bolivians.
100% positive these are blue rams (microgeophagus ramirezi) and not bolivian rams (microgeophagus altispinosa). Their color is quite washed out now, no doubt from stress. It should improve shortly.

TheMurrays said:What would be a healthy diet for them? We feed shrimp pellets mostly... We have a lot of bottom feeders.
Man, it's like we're saying the same things lolGboy66 said:NLS pellets, Omega flakes, and the occasional meaty foods
