Blue snails??? Help???

I bought some plants from my local pet shop and the next day notice 2 blue snails? Then when cleaning the tank I removed a log to clean under it and they had turned all the sand under it blue?!?!?!? I sucked it all up but I'm really worried I'm going to get a infestation of these little blue snails!?!? Can any one help me? They are very rare to see so getting them out will prove very difficult?!

Blue Snails! Never heard of them, have you tried google? I'm going to see what they're about.

Well, there you go, they are an Apple Snail, by all accounts they are sold in different colours. ClownLoaches love snail, or you could make a snail trap, an algae wafer in a cup, or something like that. Personally I would breed them to sell, good way of making a $ or 2

If I see them before I get them out I will take a photo. I'm worried about them as they keep turning the sand blue as well.
