My blue tang keeps breathing rapidly. She's eating fine. Is this normal ? :(

No. I had a blue cleaner wrasse that would clean her. But it just died

Ok well she could very well be stressed from being in a small tank. Tangs should be kept in 6' tanks minimum (with the exception to the kole and couple others) but a blue NEEDS a big tank. Tangs are known for being ich magnets too so if she becomes sick it could effect your entire tank.. what is your stock list and how old is this tank

I've had the tank for two years. Never had problems with my water.

I'm not saying the water has issues. The stress level is gonna be the issue. Are there anymore tangs in there?what is your full stock?

Nvm checked your other thread.. the only thing I can say is the tang needs rehomed the rest of your stock looks good but things will only get worse as she grows

I know you probably don't wanna hear that as most people with anything under 6' tanks in the SW world usually wanna upgrade just for that reason. To keep tangs.

I know I do want to upgrade. I wanted to upgrade after having it for 6 months. Lol

Surprised it took that long. Anytime I finish a tank and step back to give a final look it always ends with "it could be bigger" :) lol

Same with 99% of us.. trust me if I hit the lotto this hobby of mine would get out of control.... You'd see me on hoarders with 1000 fish tanks lmao

Has there been any recent temp spikes were dissolved oxygen could be a issue?

What are yur water parms no new stock added? He is kinda big for a 55 ...but keep him eating and check yur oxygen level do u got a test for that
