So my baby betta zeus was just treated for a fungal infection and is getting over some acute ammonia poisoning. He was in a one gal bowl with no filter for a while :( but now he has a fully cycled 5gal tank with a heater in it and some plants. He's been resting on the bottom lately. From what I've seen with bettas that appears a normal behavior but I'm curious if its something else. Because I know once my nitrates got to high in my goldfish tank and they did that. But I tested the water and the nitrates were around 15ppms. I also have one other question. I treated the fungus with kanaplex and it got rid of it. If it comes back can I treat again? Or should I use a different medication? It only very recently went away.
