Bottom tank trim reattachment

I was cleaning my old 20 gallon tank to get ready to set it up again and the bottom trim came off. I was wondering if I just had put a little silicone around the edges to put it back on or if there was a different way that I needed to put it back.

Just add some silicone. id be sure to make sure it doesn't leak also
