Well, I am shutting down my 55 gallon tank for the next month (starting Friday) and I would like to find a good home for my breeding pair of angels. They have spawned twice now, but ate their eggs. It is because they are young and just need more experience.

Here is a picture of the pair:

Right now they are being kept in a community tank with danios, rummynosed tetras and some plecos. I think they ate my otos so if you have those fish, I don't recommend the angels. They eat flakes, bloodworms, algae waffers and shrimp pellets.

This will be PICK UP ONLY. I am in Boone, North Carolina.

They need a home by Friday. If you want any of the other fish, let me know. Everyone is in good health and I have had no diseases in my tank accept earlier this year in Feb which came from a fish I introduced.

How long are they?... obviously I couldnt come and pick them up, (I live in KY)
what are your water conditions.. PH, KH..
Would you ship them if you were given instructions how? And given money for the trouble?

They are a little over three inches in diameter, not counting their fins. They've been living in a 55 gallon tank that has a pH of 6.0 (a bit low for my taste, but my fish are thriving) but I think if they are properly adjusted then they would do just fine in any healthy tank.

I am really uncomfortable with shipping fish as I've never done it before. I'd be devistated if anything happened to them and they were DOA.

Update:

Just got back from my LFS. My friend was working there and turns out he just set up a 55 gallon planted tank that just finished cycling. Anyway, he is taking my angels, rummynosed tetras, plecos, and a few plants. He also said if I ever wanted any of them back to let him know because he isn't the kind of person who gets really attached to his fish. He also said he give me some more discounts at the fish store since I was giving him the fish for free
